2018 Spring Sports Meeting

Dear Parent and Student,

Please mark your calendars for the Spring Sports Meeting on Monday, February 26th @ 6:30 pm in Worship Fine Arts Center. This meeting is a requirement for all prospective spring sports athletes, grades 9-12, and at least one parent who DID NOT attend either the Fall or Winter sports general meeting earlier this school year.

 

After the general meeting, each spring sports program will hold their separate parent and player meetings @ 7pm. These individual sport meetings are MANDATORY for ALL athletes planning on playing a spring sport. Please notify your coach if you have a conflict with this date that cannot be resolved.

 

-Baseball will meet in the Cafeteria                                                          -Softball will meet in the IMC

-Track & Field will meet in the Gym                                                          -Girls’ Soccer will meet in room 102
-Boys’ Tennis will meet in Room 104                                                        -Boys’ Golf will meet in Room 110
 

If you did not complete the online registration process for the fall or winter seasons, please make sure to complete this prior to the start of the spring season as registration is OPEN. All sports registration is REQUIRED to be done online at www.martinlutherhathletics.org and then by clicking on the “Athletic Registration” Tab. There are complete directions there to assist you in the process. This year the $75 athletic fee (per sport) can be paid online with your credit card (processing fees do apply) or you may still pay by cash or check in the main office. If you did not complete the online registration process for the Fall or Winter, please make sure to complete this prior to the start of the Spring season as registration is OPEN.

NOTE: Any Students who have outstanding athletic fees from a prior season will not be allowed to participate until those payments have been reconciled with the Athletic office.

When all the registration requirements are met (online registration, physical clearance forms and $75 payment turned in) the student-athlete can pick up their “Green Practice Permit Card” in the main office beginning one week prior to the sport season start date. This card will be given to the head coach and will signify that all registration requirements have been met and the athlete is cleared to participate in all activities. Please don’t hesitate to call or email us if you have any questions regarding the Athletic registration process or the Spring sports meeting.

GREEN PERMIT CARD pick up dates

*Athletes will not be permitted to practice without giving their GREEN Permit Card to their coach*

Track & Field – Week of February 26th

*Due to Spring break, all other sports can pick up their PERMIT cards beginning March 12th

All permit cards should be picked up NO LATER than 3/15
